Application and entire agreement
Our main objective is for everyone to have a safe and pleasant time at Rockingham Valley CL and we look
forward to having you stay time and time again, therefore we ask only that the following T&C’s are followed:
- These Terms and Conditions apply to the provision
of the services detailed in our booking form for stays at Rockingham valley CL.
- You are deemed to have accepted these Terms and
Conditions when you book a pitch these Terms and Conditions and your booking are the entire agreement between us.
- Site T&C’s
- Only the use of organic toilet fluid and rinse is
permitted on site, this can be purchased on site from the silver cupboards in the utility area at a discounted price or you can use your own organic fluid and rinse if preferred.
- All dog / pet fouling to be collected and
disposed of in the appropriate bin provided.
- Whilst we encourage dogs to the Rockingham Valley
CL they must be kept on a lead at all times. There are plenty of dog walking areas nearby where they can run and stretch their legs.
- The entrance gate must always remain closed when
not in use, it will lock automatically when shut.
- Please dispose of all rubbish in the appropriate
recycling bins within the waste area.
- Please do not deviate from your allocated pitch
number given on your booking confirmation as other pitches may be vacant at time of arrival but may already be allocated to other guests.
- Please keep outfits (awnings etc) within the
pitch area.
- Ball games are only to take place in the
designated Ball games area.
- No washing, personal washing or teeth cleaning to be done at any of the taps.
- Portable toilets and all toilet waste must not be washed out or cleaned out other than in the specifically
designated area.
Fire Pit Safety –
The use of personal fire pits is not permitted.
Fire pits have become very popular lately. The warmth and joy that radiates from them can make, parties, small
gatherings and simple things like toasting marshmallows enjoyable activities. However, fire pits come with dangers and to ensure safety to our site and its guests, please ensure you follow the
measures put in place within this risk assessment and additional safety information listed below.
As with any fire situation, there are many safety measures that can’t ensure everyone will remain safe. So, the
following safety protocols should be followed at all times while using the fire pits.
- Always ensure the extinguisher and firefighting equipment is close by and to hand.
- Ensure you have a suitable first aid kit within your caravan/ motorhome.
- Ensure the firepit is out before leaving the pit unattended or before finishing for the evening. Even the smallest fire can become a large fire quickly, so embers must be
completely extinguished.
- Fire pits will only be provided in suitable weather conditions. If any fire warnings are implemented within the area they will not be allowed to be used.
- Never allow children to start the firepit or play near the firepit. Children must be supervised at all times.
- All word, kindling etc will be provided by the Owner. Only dry wood and kindling will be used, and no accelerants must be used to start the fire pits.
- Never move the pits from the designated location provided.
- All cleaning and re-stocking on pits will be carried out by the Owner.
Interpretation
- The headings in these Terms and
Conditions are for convenience only and do not affect their interpretation.
- Words imparting the singular number
shall include the plural and vice-versa.
Services
6. All of these Terms and Conditions apply to the supply of any
goods as well as Services unless we specify otherwise.
7. A minimum of 2 nights is required for any weekend stay, 3 nights at Bank holidays (at our discretion)
Your obligations
- You must obtain any permissions,
consents, licences or otherwise that are needed.
Fees
- The fees for the Services are set out
on the booking form
- You must pay us for any additional
services provided by us that are not specified on the booking form or at the time of booking.
Cancellation and amendment
- We can withdraw, cancel or amend a
booking if it has not been accepted by you,
- A full refund will be given if the
pitch is cancelled 14 days or more before you are due to arrive, if cancelled within 14 days of arrival the first 2 nights will be charged. In case of emergency or difficulty call 07410
972000.
- If you want to amend any details of
the booking you must tell us in writing / email as soon as possible. We will use reasonable endeavours to make any required changes.
- If, due to circumstances beyond our
control, we have to make any change in the Services or how they are provided, we will notify you immediately. We will use reasonable endeavours to keep any such changes to a
minimum.
Payment
- Bookings arriving within 60 days to be
paid in full at the time of booking.
- If you do not pay within the period
set out above, we can suspend any further bookings which have been ordered by, or otherwise arranged with, you.
- Receipts for payment will be issued by
us only at your request.
- All payments must be made in British
Pounds.
Termination
- We can terminate the provision of the
Services immediately if you:
- commit a material breach of your obligations
under these Terms and Conditions;
- fail to make pay any amount due under the
Contract on the due date for payment;
Liability and indemnity
- We have public liability insurance in
place to the value of £2 million.
Circumstances beyond a party's control
- Neither of us is liable for any
failure or delay in performing our obligations where such failure or delay results from any cause that is beyond the reasonable control of that party. Such causes include, but are not limited to:
power failure, Internet Service Provider failure, industrial action, civil unrest, fire, flood, storms, earthquakes, acts of terrorism, acts of war, governmental action or any other event that is
beyond the control of the party in question. If the delay continues for a period of 90 days, either of us may terminate or cancel the Services to be carried out under these Terms and
Conditions.
Severance
- If one or more of these Terms and
Conditions is found to be unlawful, invalid or otherwise unenforceable, that / those provisions will be deemed severed from the remainder of these Terms and Conditions (which will remain valid and
enforceable).
Law and jurisdiction
- These Terms and Conditions are governed
by and interpreted according to English law. All disputes arising under these Terms and Conditions are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
