East Carlton Park is situated approximately 5 minute drive from the CL, or a 20 minute walk through the village's of Cottingham and Middleton.  It is a public park that is ideal for dog walking.  It is open 365 days a year with woodland walks, Cafe, Craft Workshops, Childrens Play area, Toilets (inc Disabled ) Free Parking and entry. Three nature trails afford the energetic a chance to stretch their legs.

Nestling on the borders of three counties - Leicestershire, Rutland & Northamptonshire the Eyebrook reservoir is a jewel hidden in one of the prettiest parts of England, it is situated approximately 2 miles from the Rockingham CL site and it is open from March until November  www.eyebrook.com

Regarded by many as the finest Elizabethan House in England. Burghley House was built in the 16th Century by William Cecil, the first Lord Burghley.
